The Great Cloth Diaper Change Event in Stockton (GCDC 2017)

This year EcoAble Cloth Diapers participated in The Great Cloth Diaper Change Event in Stockton, California. The Great Cloth Diaper Change event is meant to raise awareness of reusable cloth diapers. It is part of a larger set of efforts conducted by the Real Diaper Association. 

In 2016, over 5,037 cloth diapering families participated in the cloth diapering love at events in 19 countries around the world! Every year more families join and also attempt to help break the world record for the most cloth diapers changed at one time! This world record attempt is a great way to show everyone how many people are already choosing and using cloth diapers successfully.

Donna and Christie are lovely hostesses for The Great Cloth Diaper Change Event in Stockton

Hostesses greeted each visitor and gifted a swag bag to first 25 attendees. Swag bags were full of awesome goodies, kindly provided by event sponsors:

Each visitor received a raffle ticket to win great prizes from sponsors. At the event you receive first raffle ticket for free and you can purchase additional raffle tickets for a chance to win more prizes. Take a look at the prizes that were raffled away at this event:

At 11:00am participating families started the Change. Each child was changed into a 100% cloth diaper. To participate in The Great Cloth Diaper Change Event, any 100% reusable cloth diaper can be used. Diapers purchased online or at a physical retail store, sewn at home, or provided through your diaper service are all acceptable. Diapers made by WAHMs also qualify.

This year we had 7 changes at Stockton. Although the number may not be very big, it was a significant Change for Stockton community!

Visitors had an opportunity meeting some event sponsors. One of them was company called Norwex. This company provides safe and effective cleaning solutions for your family. They have some really great products, definitely check them out.

EcoAble Cloth Diapers also had a display with cloth diapering products from our store. Visitors were able to learn more about different cloth diapering options for any situation. It was so great to meet cloth diapering families of Stockton.
