Nighttime Cloth Diaper Set for Bedwetting & Overnight Incontinence

A three-piece reusable system built for full overnight output — high absorbency, snug leg seal, and the flexibility to sleep in any position without leaking.

Built for the whole night

Nighttime wetting is a different challenge from daytime incontinence. Your child moves in their sleep, rolls to their side, and a full overnight void needs to stay contained until morning. This three-piece set is designed specifically for that — more absorbency than the daytime pull-on alone, and a fitted inner diaper that stays in place and seals around the legs no matter how your child sleeps.

Full overnight wetting
The three-piece layered system is built for a complete overnight void — the fitted diaper and snap-in insert together handle heavy output that a shell alone cannot.
Side sleepers & active movers
The fitted inner diaper wraps the body and creates a close seal around the legs. Leaks at the sides are the most common complaint with pull-ons alone — the fitted layer is what prevents them.
Switching from disposables
Reusable and machine washable. Most families keep 3–5 sets in rotation. The upfront investment pays off quickly compared to nightly disposables.

Three pieces, one system

Piece 1
Fitted Cloth Diaper

The inner layer — worn directly against your child's body. The fitted design wraps snugly around the legs and hips, creating a seal that holds during rolling and side sleeping. This is what makes the nighttime set different from the daytime pull-on alone.

Key to leak prevention.

Piece 2
Snap-In Insert

Snaps into the shell or tucks into the fitted diaper to add absorbency for overnight output. Made from rayon and microfiber. Washes separately from the shell and dries faster.

Piece 3
Waterproof Pull-On Shell

The outer waterproof layer — worn over the fitted diaper. The PUL shell is the final barrier that stops any moisture from reaching your child's bedding or clothing.

Put it on in this order

The system is layered from skin outward. Each piece has a specific job.

Step 1
Fitted diaper against skin

Pull the fitted diaper on like underwear. It sits snug against the body with a close fit around the legs. The rayon fabric is soft against skin and the elasticized leg openings are the first line of defense against side leaks.

Step 2
Snap-in insert inside

Snap the insert into the fitted diaper, or into the shell — whichever sits it closer to your child's body. The microfiber core absorbs overnight output and holds it away from skin.

Step 3
Pull-on shell outermost

Pull the waterproof shell over everything. The PUL outer layer keeps any moisture that passes through the fitted diaper from reaching the bed. Adjust the side snaps for a secure fit.

Designed for how kids actually sleep

Leg gusset seal
Elasticized gussets on the fitted diaper create a body-hugging seal at the legs — the most common leak point for side sleepers.
Pull-on outer shell
The waterproof shell goes on over the fitted diaper. Adjustable side snaps help fine-tune the fit without disturbing the inner layers.
High absorbency
The fitted diaper combined with the snap-in insert gives the capacity to handle a full overnight void for most children ages 6–16.
Adjustable rise
Three rise settings on the fitted diaper and shell let you customize the fit as your child grows — without needing to size up right away.

What it's made of

100% Polyurethane Laminate (PUL)
Waterproof outer barrier. Flexible and quiet. Air dry to preserve the waterproof bonding.
100% Rayon
Soft lining against the fitted diaper. Breathable for overnight wear.
70% Rayon / 30% Cotton
Soft, flexible outer layer on the fitted diaper. Conforms to the body for a close leg seal during sleep.
100% Rayon
Soft fabric layer against your child's skin. Gentler than synthetic alternatives for overnight wear.
100% Rayon
Soft surface layer on the insert. Stays next to skin when the insert is tucked directly against the body.
100% Microfiber
High-capacity absorbent fill. Pulls moisture away from the surface and holds it inside the insert through the night.

Find the right Junior size

How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your child's hips, just below the tip of the hip bone. Use this hip circumference number to choose the size — not waist measurement, clothing size, or age.
Size Hip circumference Rise (front to back) Approx. age*
Junior 1 16–27 inches 17–20 inches ~6–10 years
Junior 2 18–30 inches 19–22 inches ~9–13 years
Junior 3 22–35 inches 21–24 inches ~12–16 years

*Age ranges are estimates only — size by hip measurement. A 10-year-old and a 14-year-old may wear the same size. If your child is between sizes, size up for a more comfortable fit and a better seal at the legs.

Cross-product sizing warning
The fitted diaper in this nighttime set uses a different size chart than the daytime pull-on. If your child already wears the daytime pull-on, measure again before ordering rather than assuming the same size applies here.

What to expect — and what to plan for

Works well for
  • Full overnight wetting and bedwetting
  • Urinary and bowel incontinence overnight
  • Side sleepers — the fitted inner layer seals around the legs
  • Active sleepers who move and roll at night
  • Children who have leaked through pull-on styles alone
  • Families replacing nightly disposables with a reusable system
Not intended for
Good to know
  • All three pieces can be washed together in the same load
  • Avoid fabric softener; it reduces absorbency in the rayon and microfiber layers
  • Most families keep 3–5 sets in rotation to cover the week
  • Additional snap-in inserts sold separately if you need a spare

Washing and drying

Machine washable Cold or warm rinse first No fabric softeners Air dry shell Tumble dry insert & fitted on low

Remove any solids into the toilet first, then store used pieces in a dry pail until wash day. Run a cold or warm rinse cycle first, then a full wash with detergent. All three pieces can be washed together in the same load. Avoid fabric softeners — they coat the rayon and microfiber fibers and reduce absorbency over time. Air drying is best for the waterproof PUL shell to preserve its bonding; the fitted diaper and snap-in insert can be tumble dried on low. Most families keep 3–5 complete sets in rotation.

Common questions

Why does this set prevent leaks better than a pull-on alone?
The key is the fitted inner diaper. A pull-on shell is great for daytime use, but during sleep — especially for children who roll onto their sides — the gap at the leg openings can let moisture escape before it's fully absorbed. The fitted diaper wraps the body closely and creates an elasticized seal around the legs that holds during movement. The waterproof shell then catches anything that passes through. The two layers working together is what makes this a nighttime system rather than just a daytime product worn at night.
In what order do I put it on?
Fitted diaper first (against skin), then snap the insert in — either into the fitted diaper or the shell — then pull the waterproof shell on over everything. The fitted diaper should be the layer touching your child's body. The shell is the outermost waterproof layer.
Will it handle a full overnight void?
For most children ages 6–16, yes. The fitted diaper and snap-in insert together provide high-capacity absorbency designed for overnight use. For very heavy wetters, keeping a spare insert nearby for easy changes is a good backup plan. If your child consistently soaks through before morning, an additional snap-in insert may help.
How do I know which Junior size to order?
Measure around the widest part of your child's hips, just below the hip bone — this hip circumference is the only measurement that matters for sizing. Do not go by age or clothing size. If your child is right between two sizes, size up for a more comfortable fit and a better seal at the legs.
Can I use just the fitted diaper without the shell?
The fitted diaper is absorbent but not waterproof on its own. For overnight use, the waterproof shell is essential to prevent bedding from getting wet. The fitted diaper alone is useful as a backup layer during the day or if your child needs extra absorbency inside the shell.
How many sets should I buy to start?
Most families start with 3–5 complete sets. That covers a school week with laundry done once or twice. The fitted diaper and insert dry faster than the shell, so you can often reuse them sooner if needed. If laundry is less frequent, 5–7 sets give more buffer.
Will my order come in plain packaging?
Yes. All EcoAble orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents on the outside.
Also need daytime protection?

The Nighttime Set is built for overnight use only. For daytime incontinence during school or activities, the Pull-On Daytime Diaper is the right fit.
