Nighttime absorbency upgrade · requires waterproof shell
EcoAble Adult Fitted Cloth Diaper with Snap-in Insert — High-Absorbency Nighttime Layer for Your Cloth Diaper System
A high-capacity fitted diaper and snap-in insert set that replaces your standard insert for maximum overnight absorbency. Worn inside a compatible waterproof shell — Pocket Diaper 2.0 or Diaper Cover 2.0 — for a complete, leak-resistant nighttime system.
Already have a shell — need more overnight capacity

If your current snap-in insert setup works well during the day but isn't holding up through the night, the fitted diaper is the upgrade. It's a full absorbent garment worn inside your waterproof shell, giving significantly more capacity than an insert alone — enough for most users to sleep through without leaking.

This set includes the fitted diaper and a snap-in insert. The snap-in insert can be added on top of the fitted diaper inside the shell for even more capacity on heavy nights, or used on its own in daytime situations where less absorbency is needed.

The fitted diaper is not waterproof
This product must be worn inside a compatible waterproof shell to prevent leaks. The fitted diaper is the absorbent inner layer only — the Pocket Diaper 2.0 or Diaper Cover 2.0 provides the waterproof outer barrier. Do not use without a waterproof shell.

Two pieces — both worn inside your waterproof shell
Primary layer
Fitted Diaper
High-capacity absorbent garment with adjustable hip tabs and leg gussets. Goes inside the waterproof shell as the main nighttime absorbency layer. 70% bamboo-rayon / 30% cotton outer, 100% bamboo-rayon inner lining.
Booster layer
Snap-in Insert
Snaps into the fitted diaper or shell for added capacity. Use on top of the fitted diaper for maximum overnight absorbency, or alone in the shell for lighter daytime use.

Three layers together — fitted diaper inside your waterproof shell
Outer layer
Waterproof shell
Pocket Diaper 2.0 or Diaper Cover 2.0. Not included — required separately.
Included
Middle layer
Fitted Diaper
Worn inside the shell. High-capacity absorbent garment with its own fit and leg gussets.
Included
Inner booster
Snap-in Insert
Snaps inside the fitted diaper or shell. Optional for extra capacity on heavy nights.

Use with Pocket Diaper or Diaper Cover — not Pull-On
Recommended
Pocket Diaper 2.0
The fitted diaper goes inside the pocket diaper shell. Most common nighttime combination.
Recommended
Diaper Cover 2.0
The fitted diaper goes inside the diaper cover shell. Works the same way as with the pocket diaper.
Not recommended
Pull-On Diaper 2.0
The pull-on shell's design does not accommodate the fitted diaper correctly. Use the pocket diaper or diaper cover instead.

What makes the fitted diaper work overnight

High overnight capacity
The fitted diaper holds significantly more than a snap-in insert alone — designed for extended overnight wear and multiple voidings without leaking.

Stay-dry bamboo-rayon lining
The 100% bamboo-rayon inner lining wicks moisture away from skin, helping maintain a drier, more comfortable feel throughout the night even when wet.

Leg gussets for overnight security
The fitted diaper has its own leg gussets that create a secondary barrier against leaks, particularly useful for side and stomach sleepers.

Adjustable hip tabs
The fitted diaper has its own adjustable hip tabs so you can dial in the fit independently from your shell — important for getting a proper leg seal during sleep.

What each piece is made from
Fitted Diaper
Outer: 70% Rayon from Bamboo / 30% Cotton
Inner lining: 100% Rayon from Bamboo
Snap-in Insert
Outer: 100% Rayon from Bamboo
Inner: 100% Microfiber

Sized by hip circumference — not waist

Measure around the widest part of your hips, below the hip bone. Do not use your waist measurement.

Size Hip circumference Rise (front to back)
Small 24–38 in (61–97 cm) 21–25 in (54–64 cm)
Medium 27–44 in (69–112 cm) 26–30 in (67–77 cm)
Large 30–51 in (76–130 cm) 30–36 in (76–92 cm)

If you're between sizes, size up for comfort and a better leak seal at the legs. Order the same size fitted diaper as your waterproof shell.

Is this the right upgrade for you?
This is the right choice if...
Your daytime snap-in insert setup is working but you're experiencing leaks overnight, or you need more capacity for extended wear. The fitted diaper is the highest-absorbency inner layer in the EcoAble system — if you already have a Pocket Diaper or Diaper Cover shell, this is the most direct path to a reliable nighttime solution.
On absorbency versus disposables
The fitted diaper with snap-in insert provides high absorbency, but some users with very heavy overnight needs find they want additional capacity. A prefold booster pad laid inside the fitted diaper adds another significant layer for heavy wetters. Booster pads are sold separately.
Don't have a shell yet?
This set requires a Pocket Diaper 2.0 or Diaper Cover 2.0 shell to work as a complete waterproof system. If you need both, the EcoAble Day & Night Set bundles the pocket diaper shell, snap-in insert, and fitted diaper together and may offer better value than buying separately.

Washing both pieces
Machine washable Cold or warm rinse first No fabric softeners Air dry or tumble low

Cold or warm rinse first, then a full wash with detergent. Avoid fabric softeners — they reduce absorbency in bamboo and cotton fibers over time. The fitted diaper may take slightly longer to dry than the insert due to its thickness — factor this into your rotation. Most users keep 3–5 complete sets so there's always a clean one ready each night.

Frequently asked questions
Do I still need a waterproof shell if I buy this?
Yes — the fitted diaper is not waterproof. You must use it inside a Pocket Diaper 2.0 or Diaper Cover 2.0 shell to prevent leaks. The shell is sold separately and is not included in this set.
Why isn't the Pull-On Diaper compatible?
The pull-on shell's design doesn't accommodate the fitted diaper correctly inside it. For nighttime use with the fitted diaper, use the Pocket Diaper 2.0 or Diaper Cover 2.0 instead — both are tab-fastening shells that fit the fitted diaper properly.
How do I assemble the full nighttime setup?
Put on the fitted diaper first and fasten the hip tabs for a snug fit. Then put the waterproof shell on over the top and fasten it. The snap-in insert can go inside the fitted diaper or inside the shell on top — either way works. The shell provides the waterproof outer layer.
Can I use the snap-in insert without the fitted diaper during the day?
Yes. The snap-in insert works on its own inside your shell for lighter daytime use. The fitted diaper is the high-capacity layer specifically for when you need maximum overnight absorbency.
What if I need even more absorbency overnight?
Add a prefold booster pad inside the fitted diaper for additional capacity. This is the recommended setup for very heavy overnight wetting. Prefold booster pads are sold separately.
How many sets do I need?
Most users find 3–5 complete sets comfortable for nightly rotation — enough to wear, wash, and dry without running short. The fitted diaper takes a little longer to dry than the insert, so a slightly larger rotation helps.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. All EcoAble orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents on the outside.

    Fitted Diaper Simply Amazing

Published by Eddie on Mar 15th 2025

The adult fitted diaper by Ecoable is well made, washes well, and the wearability is soft and comfortable. This cloth diaper is part of the Ecoable ecosystem in that it works hand and hand with the diaper cover or pocket diaper. I've been in need of a quality diaper for many years and this cloth diaper did not disappoint. The diaper combination ends up being a little thicker than a disposable but gain in comfort. The snaps are well made and I really like the adjustably and how it hugs my body type. Well done Ecoable. I will be buying more of these. You get what you pay for and these are definitely a game changer.

    Super comfortable and dry feeling

The fleece lining helps this feel dry. Add an insert and cover with the pocket diaper and you can sleep all night. The quality is exceptional and the cut is perfect to work with Ecoables diaper covers and pocket diapers.

    Fitted cloth diaper

These are well made and fit well. I use them overnight with the booster and a pocket diaper to cover them. The fleece lining helps with overall comfort. They can also be used under a snap on or pull on pul diaper cover.

Good, though not as absorable as disposable diapers.

Published by Ryan on Oct 12th 2022

I have to say right off the bat, that this fitted diaper and insert may not have the same absorbancy as disposable diapers that I have worn so far, though it does make up for the fact that you can just simply add more layers as needed, or just add a disposable diaper doubler if you really need more absorbancy. Though too many layers and it becomes bulky, so it is a trade off that you have to make. Though with the lack of absorbancy it makes up for being the most comfortable diaper that I have ever worn all the way from Bambino Diapers, ABU Diapers, Seni, Abena, and Babykins. This is soo darn comfy that I could actually sleep in these diapers at night and it is the most comfortable thing that you can wear for underwear. And as I said just add a doubler if you want more absorbancy, one of the ones that they offer here or disposable.
