Description

Daytime use · double-layer PUL shell · light to moderate protection
EcoAble Diaper Cover 2.0 with Snap-In Insert — Reusable Adult Diaper for Daytime Use
A complete reusable adult diaper system for light to moderate daytime incontinence. Pairs our double-layer PUL waterproof cover with a bamboo-rayon and microfiber snap-in insert — a durable, flexible setup that can be wiped, reused, and relied on through a full day.
Daytime wear with a more durable waterproof shell

This kit pairs the EcoAble Diaper Cover 2.0 with a snap-in insert — the standard setup for light to moderate daytime incontinence. The waterproof cover wraps around your body with adjustable hip tabs, and the snap-in insert sits inside to absorb moisture. Simple to use, reliable through an active day, and priced lower than buying the two pieces separately.

It won't disappear under every outfit — no absorbent product does — but with the right clothing choice, most people wearing this diaper move through their day without anyone knowing.

A note on clothing and discretion
Looser-fitting trousers, longer tops, and A-line styles work best for a discreet appearance. Fitted jeans or tight athletic wear may show some outline once the insert is in place. This isn't a limitation unique to this product — it's true of any absorbent undergarment. Knowing this upfront helps you plan.
How this differs from our Pocket Diaper 2.0 kit
The Pocket Diaper has a soft fabric inner lining with a pocket opening — you tuck an insert inside the pocket, and the lining sits against your skin. It also has a thin built-in booster in the wet zone, so it holds a little more on its own. The Diaper Cover has no fabric lining and no built-in absorbency, but it uses a double layer of PUL — a stronger, more durable waterproof barrier. Instead of a pocket, the insert lays directly inside the cover and snaps into place. The Pocket Diaper kit is simpler and more cushioned; the Diaper Cover kit has a tougher waterproof shell and a cover that can be wiped and reused between washes.

Adjustable absorbency — add more when needed

The system has two parts: the waterproof cover and a snap-in insert. The insert snaps inside the cover, wraps around your body with hip tabs, and handles daytime absorbency. If your needs are heavier, a prefold booster can be added underneath the insert (sold separately). If you need overnight protection, a fitted diaper can replace or supplement the insert (also sold separately).

Cover only
Waterproof only. No absorbency on its own. Not enough for regular incontinence — included here for reference.
+ Prefold booster
Higher absorbency. Adds bulk. Best for heavier needs or longer stretches between changes. Sold separately.

What sets this kit apart

Double-layer PUL cover
Two layers of Polyurethane Laminate — stronger and more durable than the single-layer PUL used in most competing covers. A more reliable leak barrier and a shell that holds up longer through repeated washing.

Wipe, air out, and reuse the cover
Because the cover has no absorbent fabric on the inside, you can wipe it down, air it out, and reuse it up to 3–4 times between washes — unless soiled. Fewer covers in rotation, less laundry.

Snap-in insert stays in place
The included insert snaps securely inside the cover so it doesn't bunch or shift during movement. Bamboo-rayon surface for skin comfort, microfiber core for absorbency.

Adjustable fit
Hip tabs and rise snaps let you dial in the fit across a wide hip range. Keeps the leg openings sealed without digging in.

Reusable — no ongoing disposable cost
Machine washable. A small rotation of 2–3 covers and 3–5 inserts lasts through years of daily use and cuts ongoing incontinence product costs significantly.

Versatile beyond this kit
The cover can also be wrapped around a fitted diaper for overnight use or around a disposable for extra leak insurance during travel. The insert works with any EcoAble adult shell if you expand your system later.

Sized by hip circumference — not waist

Measure around the widest part of your hips, below the hip bones. Do not use your waist measurement — the fit depends on hip circumference. The included insert is sized to match your cover automatically.

Size Hip circumference Rise Matching insert length
Small 26–42 in (66–107 cm) 23–27 in (59–69 cm) 22 in
Medium 30–45 in (77–114 cm) 28–33 in (71–84 cm) 24.5 in
Large 36–55 in (92–140 cm) 32–38 in (81–95 cm) 31 in

If you're between sizes, size up for comfort and a better leak seal at the legs.

Is this right for you?
This product works well if...
You have light to moderate daytime incontinence, you want a reusable option that reduces waste and ongoing cost, and you want a cover you can wipe and reuse between washes rather than laundering after every use.
You may want the Pocket Diaper kit instead if...
You prefer the feel of a soft fabric lining against your skin. The Diaper Cover has no fabric lining — the insert sits directly against the cover's inner PUL. The Pocket Diaper has a bamboo-rayon lining and a pocket opening, which some people find more cushioned for extended wear.
You may want something different if...
You have heavy incontinence or unpredictable leaks throughout the day — in that case, adding a prefold booster under the insert, or pairing the cover with a fitted diaper, will serve you better. Our Maximum Protection kit and Day & Night Set bundle these configurations together.
New to cloth diapers?
This is one of the more beginner-friendly setups available. The snap-in insert makes absorbency adjustment simple, the wash routine is straightforward, and the wipe-and-reuse cover means less daily laundry than a pocket diaper system. Most first-time users find their preferred setup within a week.

Washing instructions
Cover: wipe and reuse up to 3–4 times Insert: wash after each use Cold or warm rinse first No fabric softeners Air dry or tumble low

The cover and insert can be washed and dried together — but they don't have to be used on the same schedule. Between uses, you can wipe the cover with a damp cloth and let it air out, reusing it up to 3–4 times unless soiled. The insert needs a full wash after each use. When either piece goes in the wash, run a cold or warm rinse cycle first, then a full wash with detergent. Avoid fabric softeners — they coat bamboo and microfiber fibers and reduce absorbency over time. Both the cover and insert can be tumble dried on low, though air drying the cover extends the life of the waterproof layer.

Frequently asked questions
What's included?
One Diaper Cover 2.0 and one matching snap-in insert — everything you need to get started with a reusable daytime system. Prefold booster pads for added absorbency and fitted diapers for overnight use are sold separately.
Will this feel like regular underwear?
Not exactly — it's an absorbent product, so there is more material than standard underwear. That said, the Diaper Cover's low-profile fit and soft PUL finish get closer to that feeling than most traditional adult diapers. Clothing choice plays a big role in how it feels to wear throughout the day.
Can I wear this to work or in public?
Yes. It's designed for active daytime use. Many customers wear it throughout a full workday without issue. Looser clothing supports a more discreet appearance.
How do I prevent leaks?
Fit is the most important factor. Make sure the leg openings sit snugly without digging in, the insert is fully tucked inside the cover (no fabric poking out past the leg elastics), and that you're using the right absorbency level for your needs. A properly fitted cover with the right insert will handle most daytime situations.
Can the cover really be wiped and reused between washes?
Yes, as long as the cover isn't soiled. Because the Diaper Cover has no absorbent fabric on the inside, the PUL surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth, aired out, and reused up to 3–4 times before it needs a full wash. The insert still needs to be washed after each use. This is the main practical difference between the Diaper Cover kit and the Pocket Diaper kit.
How many covers and inserts do I need?
Most people manage well with 2–3 covers and 3–5 inserts in rotation. Because the cover can be wiped and reused between washes, you typically need fewer covers than inserts — opposite of the one-to-one ratio a pocket diaper system requires. Start with this kit to find your preferred setup, then expand as needed.
Can I use the cover for things other than this kit?
Yes. The Diaper Cover is versatile: it can be wrapped around a fitted diaper for overnight use, or around a disposable diaper as extra leak insurance for travel or heavy voids. The insert in this kit is also compatible with our Pocket Diaper 2.0 and Pull-On Diaper 2.0 shells if you expand your system later.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. All EcoAble orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents on the outside.
