Description

Recommended for you — daytime · maximum protection
EcoAble Pocket Cloth Diaper 2.0 — Maximum Protection Kit for Moderate to Heavy Daytime Incontinence
A complete 3-piece reusable cloth diaper system — shell, snap-in insert, and bamboo/cotton prefold booster — built for adults who need reliable, higher-absorbency protection throughout the day without switching to disposables.
You chose protection over profile — this kit is built for that

When reliable protection is the priority, the right setup needs more than a basic insert. This kit adds a bamboo/cotton prefold booster pad to the standard shell and snap-in insert, giving you a layered absorbency system that handles moderate to heavy daytime leaks with confidence.

This is the same trusted EcoAble Pocket Diaper 2.0 shell — the difference is what goes inside it. More absorbency does mean a fuller fit than the insert-only version, so clothing choice still matters. But if staying dry matters more than staying slim, this is the right setup.

A complete 3-piece system — ready to use out of the box
Shell
Pocket Cloth Diaper 2.0
Waterproof PUL outer shell with soft bamboo-rayon inner lining. Adjustable hip tabs and rise snaps. The foundation of the system.
Insert
Snap-in Insert
Bamboo-rayon outer, microfiber inner. Snaps directly into the shell. Adds moderate absorbency on its own.
Booster
Prefold Booster Pad
70% bamboo-rayon / 30% cotton. Lays under the snap-in insert for extra capacity. The piece that makes this a heavy-protection setup.

Three layers, one system — use what you need

This kit is designed to be used at full capacity, but you can adjust based on the time of day or activity level.

Shell only
Light protection. Lowest profile. Good for very light leaks when you want minimal bulk.

Shell + snap-in insert
Moderate protection. Standard daytime setup for light to moderate incontinence.

Shell + insert + prefold booster This kit
Maximum protection. Full three-layer setup for moderate to heavy daytime incontinence. Longer wear between changes.

What makes this system work

Layered absorbency
Three components work together to capture and contain moisture — the booster absorbs, the insert holds, the waterproof shell seals.

Bamboo-rayon inner lining
Moisture-wicking rayon from bamboo keeps skin drier during extended wear, reducing the risk of irritation.

Adjustable fit
Hip tabs and rise snaps allow a customizable fit. Secure enough for all-day wear, adaptable enough to get the leg seal right.

Reusable — machine washable
All three components are machine washable. No ongoing disposable costs. Most users rotate 3–5 full kits for daily use.

What each piece is made from
Pocket Diaper Shell
Outer: 100% Polyurethane Laminate (PUL)
Inner lining: 100% Rayon from Bamboo
Snap-in Insert
Outer: 100% Rayon from Bamboo
Inner: 100% Microfiber
Prefold Booster Pad
70% Rayon from Bamboo
30% Cotton

Sized by hip circumference — not waist

Measure around the widest part of your hips, below the hip bones. Do not use your waist measurement.

Size Hip circumference Rise
Small 26–42 in (66–107 cm) 23–27 in (59–69 cm)
Medium 30–45 in (77–114 cm) 28–33 in (71–84 cm)
Large 36–55 in (92–140 cm) 32–38 in (81–95 cm)

If you're between sizes, size up for comfort and a better leak seal at the legs.

Is this the right setup for you?
This kit works well if...
You have moderate to heavy daytime incontinence, you want to extend the time between changes, and reliable protection matters more to you than a slim profile. This is also a strong choice if you've tried insert-only cloth diapers and found them not quite enough.
The trade-off to know upfront
Three layers of absorbency means more bulk than the insert-only version. This is not a discreet-fit product. It works best under looser clothing — relaxed trousers, longer tops, or similar. If discretion is your top priority, the insert-only version may be a better starting point.
New to cloth diapers?
This system has a short learning curve. The snap-in insert and lay-in booster are straightforward to assemble, and the adjustable fit means you can dial it in over your first few wears. Most users find their preferred combination within a week.

Washing all three components
Machine washable Cold or warm rinse first No fabric softeners Air dry or tumble low

Rinse all three pieces in cold or warm water first, then run a full wash cycle with detergent. Avoid fabric softeners — they coat the bamboo fibers and reduce absorbency over time. Air drying is best for the PUL shell; the insert and booster can be tumble dried on low.

Store used pieces in a wet bag until wash day. Most users keep 3–5 complete kits in rotation so there's always a clean set ready.

Frequently asked questions
How does this differ from the insert-only version?
The shell and snap-in insert are identical. This kit adds the bamboo/cotton prefold booster pad, which sits underneath the insert for significantly more absorbency. It's the same foundation, built for heavier needs.
Can I use just the insert without the booster?
Yes. You don't have to use all three layers every time. Many users use the full setup during the day and scale back to just the insert for lower-demand periods or lighter activities.
Is this bulky under clothing?
Honestly, yes — more so than the insert-only version. With all three layers in place, this is a noticeable fit under most clothing. Looser trousers and longer tops reduce this significantly, but if discretion is your main concern, the insert-only version is a better fit.
How do I prevent leaks?
Fit is the most important factor. Make sure the leg openings sit snugly without digging in. If the diaper is sagging or shifting, try sizing down — this product runs large and a better-fitting shell will seal better at the legs.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. All EcoAble orders are shipped in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents on the outside.
How many kits do I need?
Most users find 3–5 complete kits comfortable for daily rotation. Start with 2–3 to find your preferred fit and setup, then expand once you know what works.
What's included in each purchase?
One Pocket Cloth Diaper 2.0 shell, one snap-in insert, and one bamboo/cotton prefold booster pad. All three pieces are included — nothing sold separately for the core setup.

    Good Diaper.....be cautious with sizing

Published by CK on Oct 20th 2025

Bought the pocket diaper with insert and prefold booster. These are very well made with a well thought out design. They a have a large capacity and are one of the first cloth diapers I've used that reduce the feeling of wetness against your skin. The materials used feel great and are very soft and comforting. My issue with them is in the sizing. I measured as per their instructions and ordered accordingly. Once I received these and had unpackaged them I was somewhat concerned as they appeared quite large and very bulky. Thinking it was just my perspective I went forward and washed the diapers and inserts and gave them a try. After 4 uses I can say that these run big and even with all the adjustments these still sag terribly and always feel like they are sliding off. The buttons for adjusting the rise come unsnapped repeatedly and the diaper ends up hanging half way down my thighs. I'm 5'9" 190 lbs and my hip measurement is 41" and based on the Ecobable size chart I bought large diapers. I now realize that I should have bought medium size. If I could exchange them I would (I understand why you can't) and therefore I will more than likely give them away. Still haven't decided if I'll order the mediums. I really like these but having spent what I did on the first 2 I'm apprehensive about another investment.

    Quality

I tried the original version of this product and i found them wanting. They where small as in low rise and low capacity i leaked fairly often. I saw this 2.0 had come out and i was like lets try this again, and holy SH** finally the diaper didnt feel like it was falling off the coverage is wide and comfortable, the rise actually covers up high enough to not feel awkward. Over all the 2.0 is a must have in any persons home as its both soft and comfortable and covers extremely well.
