Description
Snap-in Insert for Big Kids Cloth Diapers
A washable bamboo-rayon insert that snaps into your EcoAble Big Kids Pull-On Diaper or Nighttime Fitted Diaper to add or replace absorbency as needed.
Extra inserts for your child's existing setup
The EcoAble Big Kids Pull-On Diaper already comes with one snap-in insert included. These additional inserts are for families who want spares on hand for back-to-back changes, or who are adding an insert to the EcoAble Big Kids Nighttime Fitted Diaper, which is sold separately.
Having a few inserts in rotation means you can do one wash cycle covering several days' worth of changes at once — convenient for overnight routines or travel.
The insert is half of the system
Snap the insert into the inside of your child's EcoAble Big Kids diaper shell. The snaps align to keep the insert centered.
Your child wears the shell and insert together. The soft rayon face of the insert sits against your child's skin; moisture passes through to the microfiber core.
At change time, unsnap the insert from the shell. If the shell is clean, it can be reused. Launder the insert separately or together with the shell.

Match the insert size to your diaper size
| Size | Insert length |
|---|---|
| Junior 1 | 16 in |
| Junior 2 | 17.5 in |
| Junior 3 | 19.5 in |
Match your insert size to your diaper size — Junior 1 insert with Junior 1 diaper, and so on. Big Kids Junior sizes (1/2/3) are separate from adult sizes and are not interchangeable with EcoAble adult inserts.
What to expect
One insert handles light to moderate wetting — regular daytime incontinence or lighter nighttime wetting. For heavy overnight voids, the better solution is pairing the insert with the EcoAble Big Kids Nighttime Fitted Diaper, which offers a more tailored fit, better leak control, and higher capacity than adding a second insert.
The insert absorbs but does not contain. Without a waterproof pull-on shell or fitted diaper cover, moisture will pass through to clothing. The insert and outer diaper work as a system.
Inserts can be washed together with other cloth diapers and diaper shells in the same load — no need to separate them. Avoid fabric softeners, which coat the rayon and microfiber fibers and reduce absorbency over time.
Washing your insert
Rinse cold or warm first, then run a full wash cycle with detergent. Skip fabric softeners — they coat the rayon and microfiber fibers and reduce absorbency with repeated use. Inserts can be tumble dried on low heat or air dried. They can be washed in the same load as your diaper shells and other cloth diapering items.
