Ecoable large pocket diaper and large insert
Posted Nov 13th 2023 by Jay Livesey

Have ordered medium pocket and pull-up diapers in the past to use for daytime use. Ordered the large size for overnight bedwetting and for trips. The large size appears to be sufficient and holds alot of liquid without any leakage so far. A great and trustworthy product.

This product is definetly designed for someone with narrow hips. I have curvy body type and it was very uncomfortable in the hip area even though it was bigger other places. It also sits pretty low. The quality and fabric is great and loved the designed but it just didn't work for me.

Adult pocket cloth diaper

Have purchased several products from Ecoable in the past. Always very satisfied with the quality and ease of use. These snap on diapers are very convenient, easy to use, and easy to launder. I have suffered with incontinence for over 30 years using cloth and disposables. This snap on diaper is the most comfortable for me. Wish I would have found this product 30 years ago

Great Diaper, Good Product But Check Sizes

First of all the quality is great and if your new to cloth prices may seem high but you really get what you pay for and this is reusable so usually higher than disposables. I will say to upfront I did order the night diaper combo but it's gone so can't review it but the pocket diaper is the same. I do own a few other Ecoable products so I am a little biased but will also tell you what didn't work. So the reason I went with the older version is being incont I am kind of sick of white diapers and it's usually white or babyish but Ecoable actually has patterns though probably for the older kids & teens they work for adults and they had a pattern in the older version but not in newer ones. The Good: As my previous review on the 2.0 these are game changers when comes to cloth diapers these are going to be what I buy, me personally because I am paralyzed I don't have feeling but I really couldn't pin on diapers correctly or what seemed tight enough (though not really moving they need to be secured) I used to have great night aids that could pin on cloth amazingly but even with alot of practice it's not something I could do & since I am now primarily self care or little to no help that was an issue till I found Ecoable the snaps work great and plenty secure. I haven't switched totally to cloth and no plans to but do like the assurance of in an emergency I have diapers, but I also have times where I needed added absorbency or just need a break from disposables. I like to think of a pocket like the multi tool it has so many uses. Though I don't make it a habit I have worn these out without issue or except having to carry a dirty diaper home. Another thing I liked about pockets is they also provide protection over disposables if you happen to leak unlike most plastic pants these could absorb leaks. The Bad: so this is probably on me for not checking but like I mentioned not my first pocket diaper. These actually are smaller than or compared to the 2.0 Versions they work well by themselves but as I mentioned above I do use them as diaper covers and for daytime diapers they are tight, but for my current nighttime or extended use disposable and cloth diapers they are a no go. Compared to the 2.0 when worn as a daytime cloth diaper and even over daytime disposables the 2.0 I can actually comfortable use a rise setting as well as I have room to grow(actually trying to loose weight so hopefully not needed) but with the old version on last available snaps to use both sets & quite tight few times actually have only used one set of snaps on each side. So of your close to the top of the range I would highly recommend getting the 2.0 version as for me these are limited to daytime use only and even than it's usually on the bottom of the pile. As I mentioned I am not totally new to cloth diapers and even though I personally not switching completely over I do highly recommend Ecoable diapers & do think you should add them to your collection though I do own few other brands these are my favorite. I do own few prefolds and fitted diapers which I can use both without pins inside pockets and covers. I will do a long term review but from what I have used snaps have held up great and do like them little better than velcro like fasters. Like many parents I think I will at some point use both cloth and disposables, but as I have mentioned I have worn them out without issue and one of the times was to the doctors and she asked for information on them & have shared it with others. She actually highly recommended cloth diapers but does understand challenges going full-time. Though I liked the pattern and saved a few bucks if I knew what I knew now I probably would of found a pattern in the 2.0 version instead but I plan on buying alot more from this company.

These are a must! As a full time wheelchair user diapers of any kind are a hassle to change. Not these. They are soft and don't break down skin. I have trouble with fitting, but I am an oddly small adult. Kid diapers are too small and the youth size ecoable is a bit too loose, but performance wise this diaper is awesome.

A reusable diaper that saves my dignity while saving the planet. Perform better than disposables.

Ecoables have changed my life for the better. I spent a lot of time writing this review because I am hoping that anyone who has to deal with incontinence can see their life made better by this product too. I used to choose disposables because I had to in order to maintain dignity… I don’t have to any more. If you like the information I've provided, please feel free to use my referral link and save $10 on your first $50 order: http://ecoable.refr.cc/234EZRE I have had to use absorbent briefs for many years for incontinence. I have always had to make choices. Some products protect well but look horrible. I've worked hard to stay fit even in my middle age and I don't want to look like I'm wearing a diaper. Many disposable products protect well and look decent... However, I will probably use them for 50 years in total and I just can't stand what my contribution would be to the landfills using disposables that long. I've tried every new reusable pad/pant system I can find but none has ever been able to provide protection I could wear out in public and trust that they would not be noticed whether by being too thick to begin with or by leaking. I've outlined some of the key performance factors of these diapers as compared to disposables and other cloth diapers below. To help those of you who are incontinent understand my usage perspective, I have to wear diapers 24x7 due to overflow and urge incontinence. I have a nerve disorder that causes my bladder to contract violently and suddenly resulting in fairly large surges. I have to use pull-ups or full-blown diapers. I can't get away with pads or guards - the surges are too large. Cover - completely waterproof with double gussets. Other reusables will leak around the sides of legs as wetness - these do not. The cover is as reliable as any disposable pull-up or diaper I have used. Quiet - there is no rustle or crinkle. This is consistent with most modern reusables, pull-ups and quality diapers. Thickness - this is the primary driver of discreetness as far as I am concerned. It is also a driver of comfort as I don't think anyone wants bulkiness between legs or an extra bulge in front or back. The bamboo insert is amazing. It is not thick but incredibly absorbent. The diaper cover is about as thick as normal underwear. The result is a very thin diaper that is about as thick as a pair of Tena or Depend pull-ups when wet (disposables are thinner when dry but cloth doesn't swell - most disposables do) Weight – This is an indirect measure of comfort, discretion and absorbency. To me, lower weights are better if the performance is there. Ecoable come in at about 275 grams combined. Most reusables with similar absorbency are around 500grams. Disposables with similar absorbency are usually between 75 and 100 grams Absorbency – There are two points that I think are important for absorbency 1) when you start to feel uncomfortable from being wet and 2) when you risk leaking. This determines how long I can go before I want to and have to change. The bamboo in this product wicks incredibly well and feels dry to about 300ml. Coincidentally, this is about the same point as Depend pull-ups and Tena super plus underwear. It’s more than any other reusable I’ve tried of similar thickness. Leak point… These have consistently held over 600ml (sometimes as much as 750ml) of liquid with no leaks. They are really uncomfortable at that point but they keep me from being humiliated. Disposable pull-ups are good for no more than 400ml and really are likely to fail anytime above 350ml. Acquisition – Since I deal with surges, the acquisition time is key – liquid running around in your pants unabsorbed is a recipe for disaster. Hands down, the Ecoables are amazing. I’ve not yet experienced a surge they couldn’t handle when dry. This is far better than disposables. Comfort – Extremely soft and comfortable. Only slightly more noticeable that you are wearing a product than a disposable. As good as any other reusable. Cost – They are not cheap at the outset but are saving me hundreds. I’ve switched over completely. I do laundry every 3 days. To do this I had to buy 9 covers and 27 inserts. That is $750. Since I hang dry, I figure a load of laundry is about 50 cents and I expect these to last about 2 years before they need to be replaced. That means I will spend $865 over 2 years on diapers. I was using 1-2 diapers and 4-5 pull-ups a day when using disposables at a cost of about $5.50/day or almost $4,000 over two years. I will find amazing things to do with over $3,000 back… and I know I am doing better for the environment Convenience – The Ecoables are more convenient to change in public than a pull-up. You do need a good wet bag to store them in but you can change in a stall with your pants and shoes on. They are just as convenient as a taped diaper but far more discreet (no rustling or taping). Sizing – I have a 33” waist and the regulars fit great. There is a lot of room to expand so I would assume Ecoables sizing is correct. I like the option to snap them to a shorter crotch length (won’t peak out over pants) for daytime wear and then expand them for night.

Great fit!

The construction and materials are great. The fit is great, and it offers a lot of adjustabilities! We have only had it for a few weeks, and the stitching in the inner diaper liner is starting to come loose. Even with this flaw, she is consistently able to wake up in a dry bed. We love this diaper!

It fits extremely well on my small frame. It cleans very easy and is super comfy. The colors are bright and look like the pictures on the website. I'd definitely buy more of these!

Replacing Disposables
Posted Feb 17th 2020 by Ron

I can’t say enough about these. They have in just a few days replaced my disposable stock. I still order heavy disposable boosters and use them with the inserts with these diapers. A northshort XL Dyna Dry and an insert sets me for 6 hours easy. Best cloth diaper on the market and will probably save me thousands a year.

Diapers W/pockets
Posted Feb 7th 2020 by D Gillett

Thank you for your Diapers w/Pockets. It holds the inserts well at least on one end. I would like to see snaps with additional pocket opening on the other end. Also I wish you had an easier way to locate what we are looking for when ordering. A stock # would help us in describing what we want. I ending up having to returning one without the pocket. I had to keep one that I had opened before I had put it on.
