Will this work with my existing EcoAble shell?
Yes, as long as you have a compatible EcoAble waterproof shell — pocket diaper, diaper cover, or pull-on. All EcoAble adult shells use the same snap system, so any size snap-in insert will attach correctly to the corresponding shell size.
How do I know which size to order?
Match the insert size to your shell size. Small shell takes the small insert (22"), medium shell takes medium (24.5"), large shell takes large (31"). If you're unsure what size shell you have, check the label or the size chart you used when you bought it.
Can I use this insert without a shell?
No. The insert is absorbent only — it has no waterproofing. Without a waterproof shell around it, it will not prevent leaks. It must be snapped inside a compatible waterproof shell to work correctly.
What if I need more absorbency than one insert provides?
You can add a prefold booster pad underneath the snap-in insert inside the shell. The booster lays in first, then the snap-in insert goes on top. This combination significantly increases total absorbency for heavier daytime needs. Booster pads are sold separately.
How many inserts should I buy?
Most users find it practical to have at least as many inserts as shells — one per shell at minimum. Inserts wash and dry quickly, so a small rotation of 3–5 keeps you covered without a large upfront investment.
